Starter Science is a fun, memorable science show especially designed to suit the early childhood audience. This fully accredited hands-on Science show focuses on that most fundamental attribute of the science curriculum : Working Scientifically. MrJoe brings along an infectious love of science and learning, and a room full of science toys to play with! Kids have loads of fun learning Science with MrJoe’s Starter Science Program.
Booking details: Starter science begins with a 40 minute show for up to 100 children. This in followed by hands on time for 20 minutes for classroom groups of up to 30 students at a time. Student volunteers are asked up on ’stage’ to participate during the performance, Show venue must not be moved during the performance day. Do not schedule any fire drills on the day. A normal classroom will suffice, provided all students can sit comfortably on the floor during the show, and the room has sufficient air conditioning / heating for the local weather. Working power points are required. Show requires half an hour set up and pack up time each. A teacher must be present, and alert, during the entire show and 2 to 3 parent (or upper year level) helpers are recommended during hands on time.
