Pricing
I have three pricing offers:
$4 a child gives you a fun learning science shows for 1 hour - up to 100 students at a time
$6 gives you a 45 minute show for everyone, followed by 1/2 an hour quality hands on science workshops. The show can have up to 100 students, but the workshops are best for classroom (up to 30) students at a time. This is my most popular and common booking request!!
$9 a child gives you a one hour show (up to 100 students), a one hour workshop per class (up to 30 students), a take home info sheet on your topic, and access to MrJoes formidable store of science knoweldge!
Details:
Minimum prices are at $400 a day (unless previously negotiated).
Early child centres (kindergartens, C&K, child care centres) recieve a special $1 per student discount off their booking offer (so $3, $5 and $8) and the new miminum of $230 per day.
Vacation and holiday programs are at a $1 per student more on top of their booking (so $5, $7 and $10), but recieve a lower minimum of $280 per day.
Schools may claim a $12 maximum price per family if desired.
Most schools book a show for their entire year level, followed by hands on workshops for each class. (Total cost = $6 per student, minimum $400 /day)
I do not charge GST (I earn under the required threshold, and most schools seem happy to avoid the extra charge and paperwork)
