Details
I do three kinds of “services”
A show is a fun way for large numbers of children to learn. The shows can have up to 200 students and run for an hour. The shows are the basis of what I do.
The workshops are best for class groups (no more than ~40 children) and run for half an hour. Workshops involve playing with a room full of science toys that I bring. They are very popular with kids of all ages.
Activities are science projects where students make things they can take home, such as gak, bottle divers, and balloon rockets. Activities form the basis of the science clubs that I run. You can trade out workshops for activities in the price structure below.
Pricing
Special $30 discount off the final booking price for all bookings made for my quiet time: term 1
Schools = Shows are $5 a child, with workshops included are $7 a child (minimum $230). Remember that most other science presenters are charging more for the 1 hour show, and do not / cannot offer hands on time as well! Schools may book 45 minute workshops at $8 a child, or delux learning (and 1 hour workshop) for $10 a child.
Child care = $5 a child (minimum $230) includes shortened show and workshop. Lots of age appropriate fun!
Vacation care programs = 45 minute show with 1/2 hour hands on workshop for only $10 a child, Minimum $250 (or you can increase show and workshop to 1 hour each for only $15!)
(Beaudesert, Gold and sunshine coasts, and Toowoomba at +$30 extra on the minimum price, usually covered if student numbers are sufficient)

Science club
An hour of science activities, where I help students to make interesting science toys that they can take home and keep. The typical program for the outside school hours science clubs that I run especially in semester 1. Materials are usually very simple and provided by the school or home, and I take time to explain the science inside the science toy! Contact me for current prices. Semester 1 only!>
Markets and public events
An exciting and informative 45 minute science show that the public LOVE!
Prices start at $260 per show and $140 per show thereafter.>
Other notes:
Schools may claim a $20 maximum price per family if desired. Most schools book a show for their entire year level, followed by hands on workshops for each class.
I do not charge GST (I earn under the required threshold, and most centers seem happy to avoid the extra charge and paperwork)
There is currently no booking or confirmation fee, unless requested. Bookings cancelled within two weeks may be rescheduled without charge, otherwise full minimum price will be incurred. Finally, please make sure you pay within 28 days or an extra $30 late fee will apply.
